Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Kutch again for a 3 day visit to attend all India DGPs conference. People of Kutch, on this visit, says “Modi never forget us”. He was the one who made Kutch world famous with his initiative of Rann Utsav while he was CM of Gujarat.
While the people of Kutch warmly welcomed him, many have
questions that what did he do during his 3 day visit? Let us have a look at his
activities in Kutch:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the annual All-India
DGP conference to a new level by adding a touch of traditions and culture of
Kutch at the Dhordo village, Rann of Kutch. This trip was scheduled to be from
18th December to 20th December 2015.
The certificate of posthumous reinstatement
On the first day when Shri Modi arrived at Bhuj airport, he
handed over the certificate of posthumous reinstatement of Shyamji Krishna
Varma to the bar, by London’s Honorable Society of Inner Temple. This
certificate was received by PM when he was on the visit to London.
The DGPs Conference
This is an annual All-India conference being held at
difference parts of India every year. This year it was held at Dhordo village
which is around 80 km from the Bhuj city of Kutch district. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh
was also present in this conference.
Modi’s Yoga Session
On the second day of this conference, Shri Modi and other
top officials began their day with a 30 minute Yoga session at sharp 6 am. In
this session, eight yoga instructors were invited.
Other Activities
Shri Narendra Modi always loved to be in Kutch. During his
visit he did various activities like morning walk at White Rann to see the
sunrise, and had a nice photograph session. Among all, people like the
photograph in which he was standing holding a cup to make it look like he was
holding the sun.
Apart from this, other activities like Camel Safari and
traditional music and folk dance performances were also
organized for guests.
PM Modi also tweeted his experience in Kutch where he
mentioned that it was really a fruitful day to attend this conference at the
White Rann of Kutch.
